We periodically host virtual volunteer orientations as part of our volunteer on-boarding. We encourage you to fill out a volunteer application and to review the information about volunteering at freekindva.org/volunteer.
In addition to the volunteer application, we ask our volunteers to submit and pay for a background check (instructions provided at the end of the application), attend a virtual orientation, review our volunteer handbook, sign a volunteer agreement and confidentiality policy, and attest to uphold our core values. These items are reviewed in more detail at our orientation, where further questions can also be addressed.
